Congressional Quarterly Researcher
A weekly publication covering the most current and controversial issues of the day with complete summaries, insight into all sides of the issues, bibliographies and more. Users may browse through articles in the current issue or search for past articles using words, dates, or other criteria.

Countrywatch.com is a web site offering geographical, political, economic, historical, cultural, and business information on 191 nations.

This site produces children's educational web sites, which are designed to capture the imagination while maximizing creativity, learning, and enjoyment. It's a wonderful site for teachers, parents and children with printer-friendly pages.

Practice tests, exercises, skill-building courses, and information you need to achieve the results you want-at school, at work, or in life.
Novelist Plus K-8 - via Suffolk e-Resources
This database contains over 50,000 fiction and non-fiction titles and is aimed at helping students find books they want to read. Students can search by author, title, series or theme. With "Grab and Go-Topical Book List", students can find many books by topic and grade level. "Find a Series Name" search displays complete lists of series titles in reading order. "Describe a Plot" helps students find a title they are looking for when they enter details about a book.
Scholastic BookFlix!
This new online literacy resource, pairs classic video storybooks, from Weston Woods, with related nonfiction eBooks, from Scholastic, to build a love of reading and learning. You can choose to just listen or read along with each book. "Meet the Author" features author biographies. Check out the "Puzzlers" section for games related to each book.
