A database containing online images of museum-quality fine art. It indexes 9,000 artists from 2,900 art sites. Helpful links are provided for locating art museums worldwide, galleries, as well as glossaries, articles and current news pertaining to art.
Greater Port Jefferson Northern Brookhaven Arts Council
This organization serves the Northern Brookhaven area of L.I. It provides grants, technical support, and programming for many Brookhaven groups, including historical societies, libraries, schools, theaters, dance companies, and art and education organizations.
Long Island Museum of American Art, History & Carriages
The Long Island Museum is a Smithsonian affiliate and is dedicated to inspiring people of all ages with American Art, History and Carriages as expressed through the heritage of Long Island and its communities.

The Carriage Museum reflects America's industrial and transportation history by housing more than 200 horse drawn carriages along with rare artifacts from the carriage era. These carriages are recognized as the finest in the United States and 100 carriages are regularly displayed.

Metropolitan Museum of Art
One of the largest art museums in the world, the "Met" contains more than two million works in its collections. Online access is available to the collections by artists, time periods, and cultures. Images and descriptions are provided for each work of art. Essays on themes and artists are also online.
Museum of Modern Art
The most influential museum of modern and contemporary art in the world, "MoMA"s collections include drawings, painting, prints, photography, sculpture, architecture, and design. The collections can be browsed online by artist, work, or keyword. Images and descriptions are available for each work of art.
North Shore Art Guild
This non-profit artist organization meets monthly. It offers opportunities to display art works in annual membership shows, juried shows, and various local venues. This site also provides links to many local art galleries and groups.

A community organization that provides service programs for youths and their families including recreational and cultural activities, workshops and more.
